THINGS TO KNOW:
- We are attempting to be as sustainable as possible so will have very little one-use plastic water bottles for sale. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO BRING YOUR OWN WATER CANTEEN and we will provide water stations for refills.
- Alcohol 21+ wristbands (obtainable with a proper ID) and tokens must be acquired from a wristband station BEFORE going to the alcohol can/pour stations.

Can I bring my dog?
NO. Dogs are NOT ALLOWED (City special event rule). But for anyone desperate for some animal love the day-of, you can check out our Pet Fashio show from 12:30-1pm with animals that will be available for adoption in our CommUnity Corner afterwards.
Is there parking available?
There is no designated parking for Xpand Fest. Citywide parking decks and meters will be available as regularly scheduled. Carpooling and using city transportation is a great suggestion as well!
Where is the festival located exactly?
The festival is on the streets of Coxe Avenue and Buxton Avenue in the South Slope District of Asheville, NC. On Coxe Avenue, the street will be shut down from Banks Avenue to Southside Avenue. Buxton Avenue from Coxe to Church Street will be completely closed and programmed with our Interactive Arts Arcade and CommUnity Corner.
What are the hours of the festival?
The hours are from 12pm-10pm with an official after party at Ben’s Tune Up from 10PM-2AM.
Is this a family-friendly event?
ABSOLUTELY! We have kids activities throughout the entire event as well as a paid drop-in daycare where your child (up to 12 years old) can meet new friends and enjoy the festival in a safe way.
Does the festival accept cash or card? Are there ATMs on-site?
The festival merchandise and beverage sales can be managed by cash or credit card. There are no festival ATMs on-site.
